A virtual event supporting the children and youth of Advocates for Children CASA during Child Abuse Prevention Month

This April, Advocates for Children CASA is calling on you, and all members of our community, to join us in preventing child abuse. In 2020, there were 34,121 instances of abuse and neglect towards Colorado children that were investigated. As one of the biggest CASA programs in the state, Advocates for Children CASA supports hundreds of these children and youth through hundreds of volunteers across our programs. We are determined to make sure every child in our community who has experienced abuse or neglect has a caring adult by their side who will speak up for their needs and best interests.

We are calling on you to BE THE CHANGE. This virtual event will support the children and youth of Advocates for Children CASA during Child Abuse Prevention Month. During BE THE CHANGE, you can change a child’s story by unlocking a series of matching gifts pledged by our Prevention Partners while raising awareness about preventing child abuse right here in Colorado.
Thanks to our Prevention Partners, once we raise $20,000 together as a community, those donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar. And don’t forget that donations of $500 or more may qualify for the childcare tax credit!

All the children impacted by BE THE CHANGE are local children right here in Colorado. That means your donation will remain local and go towards preventing child abuse in our community. These are kids next door, down the road, and around town who need us now. Click here to donate!

Every dollar raised during BE THE CHANGE moves us closer to unlocking the matches pledged by our Prevention Partners. Once we raise $20,000 together as a community, these Prevention Partners will match that total. Which means your dollar goes even further this year! Click here to unlock the match!

Head to the BE THE CHANGE website to learn about how you can take an active role in preventing child abuse. From connecting to vital resources to supporting parents to growing your knowledge of child development, we will share tips and tools for creating a safer and greater community for our children.
